Training that builds resilience.

Before moving into learning and development, I worked directly with families experiencing domestic violence, substance use, poverty, and behavioral health challenges as a case planner. That direct-service foundation continues to shape how I approach trauma-informed training, resilience, and professional development today.

At AAFSC (Arab American Family Support Center), I built the organization's training department from scratch — designing onboarding, delivering trauma-informed practice training, and coordinating technical assistance across a 120+ person behavioral health and family services workforce. I'm a certified CRM coach and Solution Based Casework master trainer.

I also build self-paced digital courses: currently developing four courses for Seefar.Org's Zindagi Taza Program, and previously the GED Prep Course, CETP, and Refugee Youth Leadership series at USAHello. My work spans direct service, workforce training, and online education — skills that transfer cleanly across nonprofit, behavioral health, and corporate L&D contexts.

Further back, I spent about eight years in nonprofit communications and digital media across Pakistan — with organizations working in humanitarian response and disaster preparedness, health, conflict-affected regions, rural development, and strengthening parliamentary performance. Producing multilingual materials and telling people's stories under difficult conditions is where my instinct for audience, clarity, and cultural context first took shape.
